    •Analyzed two datasets. Data taken from HuffPost Pollster.
    •Analyzed the aggregated poll data and answered some questions:
    1.) Who was being polled and what was their party affiliation?
    2.) Did the poll results favor Romney or Obama?
    3.) How do undecided voters effect the poll?
    4.) Can we account for the undecided voters?
    5.) How did voter sentiment change over time?
    6.) Can we see an effect in the polls from the debates?

  • Stock Market Analysis using numpy and pandas

    • Analyzed Stock market data by using numpy and pandas.
    • Learned how to use pandas to get stock information, visualize different aspects of it, and analyzed the risk of a stock, based on its previous performance history. Also tried to find some basic answers.

    • Developed a java program to compute a color histogram.
    • Designed ARFF files using training and test image dataset for 8, 64 and 512 bins.
    • Constructed various classifier models using the Weka software.
    • Computed the prediction accuracies among various classifier models.

  • Implementation of PageRank Algorithim on 4GB Wikipedia Dataset

    • Extracted the links from wikipedia dataset.
    • Developed a Hive program to calculate the page ranks.
    • Used Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) to implement the PageRank algorithm on the Wikipedia dataset.
    • Provided a detailed project report.

  • Data Leakage Detection

    • Provided an application that deals with outsourcing of critical data of a business organization that needs a leakage detection system.
    • Coded program using Java.
    • Worked with five members to develop a Data Leakage Detection System. Implemented a system that detects the agent who is responsible for the data leakage.
    • Developed a model for assessing the “guilt” of agents. Guilt model are used to improve the probability of identifying guilty third parties.

  • Library Management System

    • Developed a web application that allows customers and librarian to access the system remotely for Book Purchase, Book Search, Book Issue, Book Returns & Fine Collection.
